Three Ways to Discover the Story of Your Home

Choose from three different research packages…
Options for every level of curiosity…
Whether you’re uncovering the secrets of your own property or looking for a truly original gift, my house history packages offer more than a list of names and dates. They are a window into the lives, moments, and milestones that shaped your home.
Compare the features of each package below to identify which is the best option for you.
The Snapshot House History
Not every property leaves behind a long trail of documents. Some homes are recorded only briefly.
The Snapshot House History is created for these cases. It captures what little survives and turns it into a meaningful keepsake: a concise summary of your home’s story, beautifully designed as an A4 wall print.
£155

The heritage summary House History
A richer account of your home’s past, uncovering multiple residents and weaving in local context — presented as a beautiful A3 wall print.
Some homes sit between a brief snapshot and a full archival deep dive. The Heritage Summary is designed for properties with several surviving records, offering a broader view of your home’s story without the extended depth of the Full Story package.
£325

The FULL STORY House History
A comprehensive deep dive into your home’s past, weaving together multiple records into a rich, detailed narrative — presented as either an A3 wall print, an A5 storybook, or both.
Some homes reveal only glimpses of their past — but others open the door to extraordinary depth. When records stretch beyond census and parish registers into newspapers, military service files, institutional archives, or even court and probate documents, your home’s story becomes much richer.
Price starts from £475 – £850, depending on your chosen presentation

From forgotten residents to land once used for farming, trade, or even scandal — our homes have a rich and often surprising history. My bespoke House History packages dive into the archives to find out what stories your walls have to tell. Choose from several beautiful presentation options to transform those names and dates from the past into a display-ready keepsake, made to be treasured for years to come.
Some of the house imagery used on this site was photographed by me, from public streets, as part of a long-standing personal interest in architectural history. No identifying information is shared, and images are used respectfully to celebrate the heritage of our built environment.
