House History Portfolios
- Exclusively available through our House History Portfolio service, this service brings together the key records uncovered during research into a beautifully presented physical archive.
- Rather than receiving a long-form written narrative, you’ll receive a carefully curated collection of printed historical records, historic maps and explanatory notes connected to your home. Where possible, you will also receive a printed timeline of former occupants or key moments in your home’s history. Each item is selected for what it reveals, whether that’s former occupants, changes to the property, ownership clues, land use, or the wider setting of the house over time.
- Your portfolio includes a printed A5 explanatory notes booklet, produced in a saddle-stitched format. This booklet guides you through the records included in your portfolio, explaining the records included.
- This is ideal for those who enjoy the evidence itself: census records, historic maps, directory entries, newspaper snippets, land records and other surviving traces of a home’s past.
