Historic Map Prints | A Framed Piece of Your Home’s History

Historic Map Prints
A beautifully framed A3 historic map print, individually sourced for your home or chosen property.
Each print features a high-quality image of an original historic map, professionally printed on giclée paper and framed in your choice of white, black, or oak. Depending on what survives for your area, the map may show your individual house, surrounding roads, footpaths, fields, gardens, neighbouring buildings, or what was on the land before your home was built. Either way, these historic map prints capture your home’s plot or street during a period of time in its history.
Every map is sourced individually. We look for the clearest, most detailed surviving historic map available for the property, usually from the Victorian, Edwardian, or Second World War period. For properties where more than one strong map option exists, customers will be able to choose their preferred version.
This can be purchased as a standalone personalised gift or as a beautiful addition to one of our printed or portfolio house history products.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will the map definitely show my individual house?
Most of the time, historic maps are available with enough detail to see your individual home. If your home was built after the Victorian or Edwardian era, it may show your home’s plot as it was before your house was built. Sometimes you will have the option to choose between maps that show the same area through different periods of time.
What period will the map be from?
Most maps are likely to be from the Victorian, Edwardian, or Second World War period, depending on what survives for your area.
Can I choose the map?
If there are multiple strong options available, yes. We will share the best options with you so you can choose the one you prefer.
Can I buy this as a gift?
Yes. This is the perfect personalised gift. The framed historic map print makes a thoughtful gift for homeowners, history lovers, renovators, and anyone with a strong connection to a particular house or place.
Can I add this to a house history order?
Yes. It works beautifully alongside our printed house histories, giving you both the written story of the home and a visual record of its historic setting.
